Dr. Supriya Joshi is a liver specialist, gastroenterologist, metabolic health expert, and author who has spent more than 20 years helping patients understand and improve their health. Throughout her career, she has seen the same pattern again and again. People arrive with a diagnosis they never expected, often after years of trying to make healthy choices, and wonder why no one helped them recognize the signs sooner.
That experience is behind Save Your Liver, Dr. Joshi’s mission to change the way people think about liver health. Most people don’t think about their liver until something is wrong, and many still associate liver disease primarily with alcohol. Dr. Joshi shows people a much bigger picture. The liver can provide an early window into metabolic health, helping connect changes such as rising cholesterol, insulin resistance, weight gain, fatigue, and increasing waistlines before more serious health problems develop.
Drawing on decades of clinical experience, Dr. Joshi makes complex medical science understandable and useful in everyday life. She focuses on practical, evidence-based habits people can sustain, from the way they eat and move to the choices they make throughout an ordinary day. She believes that people shouldn’t have to wait for a diagnosis to start protecting their future health.
Through Save Your Liver and her book, Healthy Liver Hacks, Dr. Joshi is bringing liver health into the broader conversation about prevention and helping people recognize the signals their bodies may already be giving them. Her goal is to give people the knowledge to act earlier, make informed choices, and protect their health, independence, and quality of life for years to come.
